Biography

Hello! I am a master’s student at UBC, Vancouver working on causal and fair representation learning using statistical and kernel-based measures under the supervision of Dr. Danica J. Sutherland. I also collaborate with Dr. Arthur Gretton from the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit at UCL.

I have held machine learning research intern positions at Borealis AI, the Visual Intelligence and Learning Lab at EPFL and the Applied Sciences group at Microsoft Research India.

Previously, I was a full-time research fellow at Wadhwani AI where I was involved in the development of an AI-powered visual screening tool to detect low birth-weight (<2.5kg) babies in rural India where primary healthcare is inadequate.
